The last three months I was unable to publish blog post to the Jekyll engine due to several different & non-yet-seen errors which clearly made my life harder to spend some meaningful time with writing instead of dealing with geekie stuff. During these occasions I feel that choosing a less hip (& secure) blogging platform such as Wordpress can increase my overall productivity in this aspect.
Nevertheless, I am moving to Netlify from Nearlyfreespeech.net, as loads of comments and online personas mentioned that it is a viable solution for hosting personal & static blogs and websites. Hosting on nfs was super cheap, so I am more inclined to use the additional features of Netlify such as automatic deploy and https handling, instead of focusing on its free basis.
